Frequently Asked Questions

A healthier form of shopping.

Do We Accept Credit and Debit Cards?

Yes! Higher Hemp is one of only a handful of CBD companies that are able to accept all major credit and debit cards, and we also accept cash on delivery for local San Diego orders.

Shipping and Delivery

Higher Hemp offers several methods of delivery for your CBD order:

Free same-day delivery in San Diego County and free 1-3 day shipping nationwide on orders over $60. Delivery/shipping fee of $8 on orders under $60. View our shipping policy here. San Diego County local USPS shipping available free on all orders

ARE HIGHER HEMP'S PRODUCTS LEGAL?

Yes! Hemp-derived CBD was finally legalized federally thanks to the 2018 U.S. Farm Bill -- as long as the products contain less than 0.3% delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) by weight. All of Higher Hemp’s CBD products are within the federal legal limit of THC, and contain high concentrations of CBD.

Is there a minimum order?

Higher Hemp does not have a minimum order requirement. You can order as little or as much of our CBD products as you'd like!

ARE HIGHER HEMP'S PRODUCTS 3rd-party lab-tested?

Yes! All products we carry have been tested for cannabinoid content. All of our products are pesticide-free and most ingredients are also organic. You can see lab results in each product's photos and download our current lab results PDF file from our homepage.

Will CBD get me high?

CBD is considered a non-psychoactive cannabinoid, so it won't give you a head high.

Do we have a store you can visit?

No, we're a delivery-only business. However, if you'd rather us not deliver to your home or work, we can deliver at a meeting place of your choosing or mail your order to you!

Will your products show up on a drug test?

Most drug tests do not test for CBD, they test for delta-9-THC -- the specific cannabinoid that causes a psychoactive high. Most of our products such as our CBD oil, vapes, concentrates and topicals are THC-free. Products which contain CBD flower may have trace amounts of THC but likely too low to cause a drug test positive. Best practice is to check with whoever is requiring the drug test make sure CBD flower use is permitted.

what are the health benefits of CBD?

That’s a tricky question because the FDA doesn’t allow us to talk about that. But you can read more about the health benefits of CBD in peer-reviewed scientific journals here.
